PPC campaigns run through Google Adwords to suit your budget

If you’re serious about selling online, it’s rare that you can rely on coming out on Page 1 of Google’s natural listings. (By the way, other search engines are available, but Google is king!) Whilst we will give you our best advice and help with setting up your online shop or other website from a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) point of view, there’s no guarantee that you will do well in the search engines across the board with all your products or pages. Some products and pages may eventually do well after the website has been live for some time, but others may get nowhere.

This is where Pay Per Click (PPC) comes in, and again, Google is king in this area too. In essence, PPC involves bidding on keywords that you think your potential customer will search for. If you’ve bid enough on a chosen phrase, then your paid for advert will come out at the top or down the right hand side of Google’s search output, and if (and only if!) someone clicks on one of these advertisements, then you will be charged for that click.

It sounds relatively simple, and in principle it is. However, getting to grips with actually running a PPC campaign through the Google Adwords system is anything but simple. That’s not to say you can’t do it yourself, and we have many customers that do. However, we’ve also seen some colossal wastage, where a client is haemorrhaging money, and to no or little effect.
