This is the cheapest way to sell online, and means you don’t have the expense of setting up a merchant account with the monthly fees that entails to the merchant provider, and also the payment gateway provider. Just be aware that PayPal’s commission rates are higher than those of a traditional merchant provider, so you will need to do the sums to see which route is cheapest. If your turnover is high, then a traditional merchant account will be better.
