e-Limelight owns its own servers, on which only e-Limelight customer sites are hosted. The servers are located in a UK data centre providing multiple redundancy to the UK's internet backbone. Your business's website will benefit greatly from not being one of 100s or even 1000s of websites crammed onto a shared server, so are fast-loading and efficient. Your website and any associated data (e.g. orders from an ecommerce site) is backed up every night, giving you peace of mind that your data is safe.

Hosting Email on your domain

Once you own your own domain, it is much more business-like to create email addresses on that domain, e.g. enquiries@yourdomain.com. Writing emails from a hotmail or gmail account just doesn't give the right impression. Our servers handle all incoming emails for our customers, and can also be used for routing your outgoing emails. You get the benefit of a webmail interface, meaning you can access your emails from any computer with an Internet connection anywhere in the world. In the unlikely event that our mail server is down or unreachable for any length of time, our secondary mail server will collect your incoming emails and deliver them to you as soon as the primary server is contactable, meaning you should never lose an email.
